Privacy Policy

Information we collect

When you build a seating plan, we collect the information you provide:

• Your event name, host/organiser names and event date
• Your table layout (names, shapes, seat counts) and guest list
• Each guest's dietary requirements and any free-text notes you add for them
• Your email address, and the name and billing address Stripe collects during checkout, if you make a purchase — used to issue your tax invoice

We do not require or collect a password, and we don't ask you to create an account.

How we use your information

Your plan details are used solely to generate your preview and print-ready files — including guest dietary information, which appears only on the caterer sheet you download, never on the guest-facing place cards. Your email address is used to send you a link to download your purchased files, and for purchase-related communication.

Payment processing

Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store your card or payment details — Stripe handles this directly and securely. See Stripe's own privacy policy for details on how they handle payment information.

Analytics

We use privacy-conscious analytics (Vercel Analytics) to understand how the product is used — for example, how many people reach the checkout step. We do not send guest names, dietary notes, or any other plan content to our analytics provider.

File storage

Purchased files (PDFs) are stored using Vercel Blob storage, at an unguessable web address. Access to your files — and to editing your plan and regenerating an updated set of files, free, at any time — is via the same secure, randomly generated private link sent to your email; this link is not derived from or linked to any predictable identifier.

Data retention

We keep your plan details and generated files available through your private link for at least 12 months after purchase, so you can come back and make changes or re-download without paying again. We may retain them for longer for reasonable record-keeping. If you would like your data deleted sooner, please contact us.
